PorterHouse Media has been having a little too much fun on the golf course via our collaborations with the PGA Tour’s Skratch team. Below you’ll find the videos thus far in our series which are certainly meant to amplify the lighter side of golf.
PorterHouse Media, the production company founded by acclaimed video-remixer DJ Steve Porter, has been selected to produce a new series of videos for Fox Sports 1, showcasing some of the most high-profile events in current sports.
This series begins with a feature on UFC Featherweight champion Conor McGregor. This video highlights McGregor’s boldest sound bites and is poised to build excitement and anticipation surrounding the Lightweight title fight with Eddie Alvarez on November 12th. DJ Steve Porter expressed his enthusiasm to be creating such fun content, saying “It’s amazing to be working with the Fox Sports 1 team, we’ve been working with sports content for some time now but we’re looking to push the envelope on this next round.”
PorterHouse Media is no stranger to remixing sports content and has been gaining huge traction for it. Porter was nominated for two Webby Awards for videos that premiered on ESPN’s SportsNation and featured memorable press conferences with rants from players and coaches. PorterHouse Media also produced the award winning “All He Does is Win” Tim Tebow video for ESPN which received two Webbys, and an award from the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences for excellence in multimedia. Now PHM hopes to bring some of that same magic over to Fox Sports 1.
Last week, PorterHouse Media premiered a fun, catchy remix mashup of Fox’s MasterChef. Season 7, which launched in June 2016, once again featuring Gordon Ramsey and Christina Tosi as judges.
The remix builds on MasterChef’s social media marketing strategy, which highlights the tense, competitive, and humorous nature of the show. The fun, catchy video, built around Gordon Ramsey soundbites, is guaranteed to play over and over in your head long after it finishes. CNBC has reached out to PorterHouse Media one again looking for a fun and catchy advertisement for the summer premiere of their original hit show West Texas Investors Club. Coming off of its first season, investors have already invested $1.97 M and look to make even more deals in its second season. The investors include Mike ‘Rooster’ McConaughey, Wayne ‘Butch’ Gilliam, and Gil Prather.
The ad emphasizes the upbeat and witty culture of the show, the hope for success of contestants, and of course the investors love of beer. Deals will be made. Lives will be changed. In light of legendary golfer John Daly’s 50th birthday, PorterHouse Media has been recruited by Sports Rocket to create an epic sports mashup that is equally as fun and eccentric as the pro golfer himself. “PorterHouse Media was really excited to be working with SportsRocket and this video for John Daly, he was a personal favorite and his content lends itself really well for the classic sports mashup ”.
A man of extremes, John Daly is notorious for his extreme swing, golf drives and lifestyle off the course. Daly won the PGA Championship in 1991and he claimed a second major title in 1995 when he won the Open Championship at St. Andrews.

Porterhouse Media has teamed up once agin with Levity Entertainment Group to produce a custom show-open mashup and in-show mashup transitions for legendary ventriloquist Jeff Dunham. Designed to get the crowd hyped-up, the show-open mashup features a chronological edit of Jeff Dunham’s career highlights while the in-show transitions keep the fans engaged as Dunham switches between his characters.
When it comes to building one of the most successful careers in comedy- Jeff Dunham is no dummy. Dunham has consistently been ranked as one of America’s top comedians, his Very Special Christmas Special , aired on Comedy Central, was the most watched broadcast in the network’s history. He has appeared on numerous television shows and even starred in his own NBC special, Jeff Dunham: Unhinged in Hollywood. Jeff is currently on the road performing his “Perfectly Unbalanced” Tour.

ABC’s Black-ish reached out to Porterhouse Media looking for a hilarious way to end their “Sink or Swim” episode which centered around Dre drowning in the pool and being rescued by his youngest daughter. On the show, the drowning remix ends up going viral as everybody at the pool party can be seen sharing it on their phones.
Black-ish is notorious for addressing racially sensitive material. Their honest demeanor has been recognized with several
nominations and awards. This year along with being nominated for the Primetime Emmy Awards, Black-ish won TV Program of the Year, Best TV Comedy and six Image Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Performance by a Youth, and Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series.
