DJ Steve Porter’s Porterhouse Media Creates “Wack Pack” Remix For Howard Stern’s Howard TV
“King Of All Media”, Howard Stern Calls Porter “Brilliant”
HOLYOKE, Mass. (December 22, 2011) — PorterHouse Media, a production company founded by world-renowned master video remixer DJ Steve Porter, can now add the King Of All Media to its clientele.
Porter and his crew were recently commissioned to create a 2:30 remix of Stern’s famous (or is it infamous?) “Wack Pack,” a collection of his craziest and most rabid fans, which debuted last Wednesday, Dec. 14, on Howard TV.
The remix will be available for viewing on Howard TV until January 4.
The video includes a collection of the usual suspects, such as Bettlejuice, Jeff the Drunk, Gary The Retard, and High Pitch Eric, with the omnipresent assortment of strippers and other fringe players peppered in for good measure. Porter’s unique mashing and music make this truly a one-of-a-kind creation.
In short, it makes for some very entertaining and ‘must-watch’ viewing, to say the very least.
“We’ve created some wild remixes, but it’s safe to say this is the wildest,” said Porter. “There’s never a dull moment with Howard and his crew, and our biggest challenge was keeping this piece to just 2:30, as there was so much great video to work with. We had an absolute blast putting it together, and are thrilled that everyone is so pleased with it.”
Stern, in fact, labeled Porter as “brilliant” and that the video was “terrific” upon viewing it, while Stern staffers Robin Quivers, Gary Dell’Abate, Fred Norris and others were quick to agree.
Howard TV is Stern’s on-demand television service which covers the daily happenings of Stern’s popular satellite radio show on XM/Sirius Radio, along with a host of additional programming. It can also be accessed online at www.howard.tv.
