ABC’s Black-ish Gets It’s Own Remix Parody

imgresABC’s Black-ish reached out to Porterhouse Media looking for a hilarious way to end their “Sink or Swim” episode which centered around Dre drowning in the pool and being rescued by his youngest daughter.  On the show, the drowning remix ends up going viral as everybody at the pool party can be seen sharing it on their phones.

Black-ish is notorious for addressing racially sensitive material.  Their honest demeanor has been recognized with several
nominations and awards.  This year along with being nominated for the Primetime Emmy Awards, Black-ish won TV Program of the Year, Best TV Comedy and six Image Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Performance by a Youth, and Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series.

PorterHouse Media has been commissioned by Rolling Stone Magazine to produce a new monthly remix series entitled “RS Remix by DJ Steve Porter”.  The “RS Remix” series will cover pop cultures biggest music names and events in signature PorterHouse style.  One of the goals for this series is to increase brand awareness for Rolling Stone in the increasingly competitive market for premium viral video content.

Steve Harvey presents the world premiere of an “Ask Steve” mash-up video from famed DJ Steve Porter, who pulled all sorts of crazy moments from the show and turned it into a pretty hip song. When Harvey asks Porter why he decided to do a remix of the show, Porter responds “I love your show. I’ve been watching your show forever.” “You’re the ultimate sound bite to me, so I decided I’ve got to produce a beat for you” he adds.

PHM Collaborates With LEG To Produce Promotional Mashup Spots For “Unhinged In Hollywood”

Jeff Dunham’s first primetime special “Unhinged In Hollywood” is due to air September 17th and PorterHouse Media has been tapped by LEG Entertaiment to produce promotional spots in lead up to the event.  In addition to being a special feature on Jeff’s upcoming DVD, the mashup spots will be featured on his social channels online and used for various marketing activations.

PorterHouse Media Returns To AFV With A Tribute To Tom Bergeron!

afv_logoHolyoke, MA, April 3rd, 2015 — America’s Funniest Home Videos knows there is no other way to commemorate beloved host Tom Bergeron than with a signature PorterHouse Media mashup! This next DJ Steve Porter and PorterHouse production is dedicated to Bergeron and will celebrate the TV personality’s 13 year streak as the stand-up host of AFV. Bergeron began the show in 2001 and has since expanded his entertainment talent as the host of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars.

DJ Steve Porter’s first remix for AFV, called “Turn That Camera Off,” aired on the ABC network in 2013 and features hilarious clips from various AFV episodes. This time around, instead of combining segments from AFV’s videos, PorterHouse Media is turning the camera around on the one who provided the witty narrations we’ve so easily come to love. CNBC Calls On PorterHouse Media to Produce the “Shark Tank Nation” Remix

NHL Team, Arizona Coyotes Airs Game-Opener Mashup Produced by DJ Steve Porter

coyotes steve jpeg brightHOLYOKE, MA, February 20, 2015 – Hockey season is in full swing and the Coyotes of Glendale, Arizona have taken their marketing to the next level with an original mashup created by DJ Steve Porter & PorterHouse Media. The remix was presented via jumbotron right before their February 5th home game against the Carolina Hurricanes. It will be used as an introductory video each time the Coyotes take the ice at Gila River Arena.

The mashup called “Ready For The Challenge”, boasts an electrifying track designed to excite Coyote fans. The ready-for-action anthem accompanied by motivational clips from the team’s players and coaches encourages fans watching not to miss a second of Coyotes Hockey action. With an added sound byte of the signature Coyote howl this mashup is undeniably one of a kind. Also included are exclusive in-studio visuals of Porter provided by DGA Production of Boston. The finished product: Coyotes’ very own, digitalized version of a hype man.
